Check in LAX Airport at 9.00 pm Saturday. Malaysia Airlines Flight
MH95Q departing LAX at 1.40 am on Sunday, May 20 (early morning
flight). Due to the International Dateline, you will lose one calendar
day.
DAY 2 - MONDAY, MAY 21
Arrive at Taipai International Airport 6:25 AM. Connecting flight
69 at 8:00AM to Kota Kinabalu. Arriving at Kota Kinabalu International
Airport at 11.25 am. Transfer to Hyatt Kota Kinabalu. Free afternoon
and evening to enjoy.
DAY 3 - TUESDAY, MAY 22
KOTA KINABALU
Kota Kinabalu Half day city tour during Sabah World Museum Week.
Learn about the history of Jesselton. Dinner at open air fish market
with cultural dance perfornmance.
DAY 4 - WEDNESDAY, MAY 23
KINABATAGAN RIVER
After breakfast, check out from Hyatt Hotel and transfer to Kota
Kinabalu International Airport for your flight to Sandakan. Arrive
at Sandakan airport, meet and proceed to Kinabatagan River for a
late afternoon cruise to watch proboscis monkeys jumping from tree
to tree. Opportunities to view other animals in the open such as
various birds liek herons, kingfishers, and hornbills., monitors
lizards, macaques and the occasional spotting of pygmy elephants
or crocodiles. Spend the evening on the river.
DAY 5 - THURSDAY, MAY 24
OXBOW LAKE AND SEPILOK JUNGLE RESORT
After breakfast, check out from Hyatt Hotel and transfer to Kota
Kinabalu International Airport for your flight to Sandakan. Arrive
at Sandakan airport, meet and transfer to Sepilok Jungle Resort,
enclosed within a tropical virgin rainforest and is just 5 minutes
walk to the Sepilok Orang Utan Rehabilitation Centre. Immediately
go over and watch one of the nature’s most endangered animal
species - the “orang utan” or “man of the jungle”
in local language swing from branches to branches towards the feeding
station. Evening relax at Sepilok Jungle Resort.

DAY 6 - FRIDAY, MAY 25
SANDAKAN – KUCHING
Morning visit to Sepelok Orang Utan sanctuary to watch feeding of
orangutans being rehabilitated tor return to the wild. Stop off
at Sandakan POW memorial, where over 1600 British and ANZAC soldiers
were housed before the infamous death marches to Ranau.
Transfer to Sandakan Airport for an afternoon flight back to Kuching.
Arrive at Kuching International Airport, meet and transfer to Kuching
Hilton Hotel 9:15PM. Free evening to relax and enjoy the Kuching
Waterfront. The Sarawak state capital - KUCHING, on the northwestern

WORLD HARVEST FESTIVAL - KUCHING

KUCHING “CAT” CITY TOUR
1000-1400 hrs - Discover the charms of this riverine city established
by Sir James Brooke, the first White Rajah of Sarawak. See buildings
dating back to the days of the White Rajahs, ancient Chinese temples
and colorful markets displaying the produce that first brought traders
to Borneo. A visit to Kuching will not be complete without making
a stop at the Sarawak Museum. Completed in 1891, the museum has
an excellent collection of Bornean ethnological and archaeological
artifacts and is reputed to be the best in South East Asia. Rooftop
dinner at seafood hawker stall.
DAY 9 - MONDAY, MAY 28
SEMENGOH WILDLIFE CENTRE
0830hrs/1400hrs - Depart for the Semengoh Wildlife Centre located
a short drive from the centre of Kuching. Observe the feeding of
orangutans requiring rehabilitation. The tour provides an opportunity
of a lifetime to observe how the orang utans are being rehabilitated
and trained to fend for themselves before being released into the
wild. Visitors are allowed to study and observe the orang utans
at a distance. Aftwerwards visit Jong's Crocodile farm towatch teh
feeding of these dangerous reptiles. Afternoon free for perusing
handicrafts on the main bazaar.
DAY 10 - TUESDAY, MAY 29
Check out from Kuching Hilton Hotel and transfer to Kuching International
Airport for flight MH2507 at 11.05 am. Arriving Kuala Lumpur International
Airport at 12:50pm.
Connecting flight MH94 to Los Angeles at 3:15PM.
